Weather and electricity prices go together like biscuits and gravy - so we decided to bring the gravy into the app. The Wholesale Price screen now shows weather information to correspond with the current price and projected prices to give you better, more informative data.

Double the pleasure, double the fun, am I right? We are doubling the amount you get for referring friends to Griddy. Instead of $25, you each will get a $50 credit when they sign up. So refer away and earn double the credits. You can always find your referral link on the Account screen.

Enjoy some bug fixes and minor, yet mighty, improvements. Much like the mantis shrimp who stands at about 10 cm in length but whose claws (or smashers and spearers, as they are called) have an acceleration of 10,400 g-force!

Making the current price of energy more current ¬- the most current, even. On the price dial, not only do you have the five-minute countdown clock, but now there’s a timestamp for when the price is last updated. These are for those rare times when ERCOT does update the price more often than every five minutes. Stay hip, my friends.

Who loves Griddy? You love Griddy! Which is why you’ve been asking for an easier way to get your referral link (so you can explain how awesome Griddy is AND get $25). So we have now added our referral widget to the Account page. You’ll be able to access and share your unique link to your heart’s content - unless you don’t have heart, then enjoy!

No need to sweat the heat - or those annoying network errors that kept popping up. We fixed a caching issue that prevented some connections to our network so using the app uninterrupted will be a whole lot smoother. We also made an update to our Recent Transaction section on the Account page that gives a better description of credits added. Stay cool, Griddsters!

This one is big, and just in time for the summer!! You asked, we listened (it’s nice when it works out like that). We’re happy to unveil the new and improved Usage page! [Hold for applause]. After your helpful feedback, combined with some internal wizardry, we gave this page a long overdue makeover (a good makeover, like one you’d see on TV, not the one you get at H-E-B).
But it’s not about us. If you have any feedback or ways for us to improve, let us know at support@gogriddy.com.
